Advisory Board

We decided to set up an Advisory Board in order to better serve our international customers and to keep our research projects, professional technological solutions and state-of-the-art services continuously at the cutting edge. OptXware Advisory Board is chaired by Prof. Neeraj Suri, while the members are internationally acknowledged professionals with great research and development experience.

 

Prof. Neeraj Suri
Chairman

Neeraj Suri received his Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He currently holds the TU Darmstadt Chair Professorship in Dependable Embedded Systems and Software at TU Darmstadt, Germany and is also affiliated with the University of Texas at Austin. His earlier appointments include the Saab Endowed Professorship, faculty at Boston University and research staff at AlliedSignal Research. His interests span the design, analysis and assessment of distributed, dependable embedded systems and software. He is a recipient of the NSF CAREER award and also Microsoft and IBM Faculty awards.

Suri is the Chair-elect for the IEEE Technical Committee on Fault Tolerance and Dependability and on its Steering Committee. He has chaired most major conferences in the area of dependability/security such as DSN, SRDS, ICDCS, HASE, DATE. He serves as the assoociate Editor-in-Chief for IEEE Trans. on Dependable and Secure Computing, editor for IEEE Transactions for Software Engineering, for ACM Computing Surveys covering Embedded Systems and Real-Time, for Journal of Security and Networks, and has been an editor for the IEEE Trans. on Parallel and Distributed Systems. He maintains active engagement in a range of EC projects (IP’s, STREP’s, CSA’s), and as an expert for the EC Units for Embdedded Systems and Depednability & Security. He is also a member of IFIP WG 10.4 on Dependability, and a member of Microsofts Trustworthy Computing Academic Advisory Board.
